This problem occurs when the SMTP server requires the user to be authenticated in order to send the email.
If you have a problem sending email from your email software ( Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail etc ), you need to check the following points:
The incoming mail server ( = POP ) must be: mail.yourdomain.ext ( to be replaced by your domain name: for example " mail.mydomain.net ", or " mail.mycompany.fr " )
The incoming mail server port must be: 110
The outgoing mail server ( = SMTP ) must be: mail.yourdomain.ext ( to be replaced by your domain name: for example "mail.mondomaine.net", or "mail.masociete.fr" )
The outgoing mail server port must be: 587
Your outgoing mail server must identify itself using your full email address and its password.
Your full email address (POP and SMTP account username) must be in MINUSCALES.
Change your email password if you are still unable to connect to your email.
In the advanced settings, tick the box "my outgoing server requires authentication".
You can now solve the problem of sending email on your web hosting with LWS. This is very often a problem with the configuration of your software.
