What does this error mean?

This error indicates that more than 4800 emails have been sent in the last 24 hours from the mail_php function associated with your shared hosting.

This error is generated by a contact form or guestbook that is not secure and can therefore be used by robots to send malicious emails.

It may also be linked to the presence of a malicious file on your FTP account that sends this type of mail.

This error blocks the sending of mail from the mail_php function for one hour after the error is generated.

Check which script was used to send the mail causing this block by analysing the mail php function logs.
An anti-virus scan of the files associated with your site can be carried out, as can the installation of modules to secure your website (e.g. Wordfence for Wordpress).
