• Use an encryption port: Tick this box and leave port 22.

Step 1: In the left-hand menu, click on"Synchronisation".

Step 4: At this stage, enter a name for the task so that you can find it later (1). Then select a folder on your NAS server (2) which will be synchronised with the folder you have selected on your LWS Cloud Drive (3). Then click"Next" (4)

Selecting the local folder on the NAS: Navigate in the tree structure then select your folder (1) then click"OK" (2)

Select the remote folder on the Cloud Drive: Navigate in the tree inside the"files" folder (1) and select the folder that will receive the data (2), then click "OK" (3)

Step 5: At this stage, you can choose when the synchronisation should take place.

You can choose :

• not to schedule this task
• run it now
• run it after another task, which may or may not be scheduled.
• you can schedule your task to run periodically.

To schedule a period for the task to run, select"Scheduler" from the choices available, then click on the"+" to add a schedule.

You can then schedule your task to run once at the desired date and time, or daily, weekly by selecting the desired day or days, or monthly.

In the example above, we have configured the scheduler so that the task runs every Monday at 8am. Once you have made your configuration, click"OK".

Once you're back on the schedule selection page, your setting will appear, so you can click"Next" to continue with the configuration.

Step 6: This step lets you configure various rules relating to the synchronisation task:

• Usage limits: allows you to limit the speed of data transmission so as not to monopolise the internet connection if it is shared with other uses.
• Delete additional files in destination folder : deletes files in Cloud Drive if they have also been deleted from the NAS.
• Exclude duplicate files: allows you not to synchronise a file if it already exists on Cloud Drive
• Compress files during transmission: The volume of data transmitted will be smaller, which limits data consumption, but may slow down the synchronisation process due to the file compression and decompression stage.

Once you've made your choice, click"Next".

Step 7: You will then get a summary of the task's configuration, all you have to do is click on "Create" to make its creation definitive.

Once the task has been created, you have the option of waiting for the next schedule to execute the task, or performing the first synchronisation immediately.
