Managing your share bar locations with Monarch

Procédure

Divi builder is included in ourWordpress web hosting packages. If you would like support for DIVI builder, you must subscribe to a licence directly on the Elegent theme Divi website.

Introduction

LWS offers 3 premium plugins from Elegant Themes (Divi, Bloom and Monarch). These are regularly updated. Once you are an LWS customer, you will have free access to these plugins by choosing the 'Divi Builder' distribution when installing the Wordpress CMS with our Auto-Installer.

If you have a cPanel package or have already installed Wordpress with this distribution, but do not have access to all the themes or updates, please let us know by giving us the access details for the administration area of your Wordpress site so that a technician can update the licence.

Please note: you will need to take out an Elegant Themes licence to benefit from support. LWS does not provide support for these products.

How do I manage your share bar locations with Monarch?

Once you have enabled locations in the Locations tab of the Monarch dashboard, a Meta Box will appear on your post and page editors. This will appear below or to the right of your text editor depending on your WordPress settings. Choosing to tick 'Enable Monarch Override settings' will open a menu of all global locations, allowing you to select the Monarch sharing methods you wish to use for this post or page.

Use cases

Deactivate a globally enabled location

If you create a post and don't want it to display a floating sidebar, but your Monarch settings tell floating sidebars to appear on all posts, you can use the override box to disable your bar on that post.

Activate a deactivated message type

Let's say you've chosen to enable pop-ups on the post only, but you create a page where you want to display a sharing pop-up, you can choose to enable the pop-up for that page.

Deactivate all locations

You may be creating an FAQ page that is not intended to be shared at all. The Meta Box is a great way to completely disable Monarch on this page by unchecking all locations.
